Isolation di Perpetual Loop

Isolation è l'ultimo album di Charles Massey, A.K.A Perpetual Loop, compositore britannico attivo sulla scena della musica elettronica da circa dieci anni.
Isolation è il risultato di una serie di emozioni che si riflettono nell'ambiente che circonda Charles, un viaggio accompagnato dalle note dei sintetizzatori che prendono voce e forma, raccontandoci viaggi emozionali. Ogni traccia è un'emozione, ma come nell'animo umano anche nel suo album è possibile trovare dei richiami a tracce precedenti, ad esempio in ISO007 ci sono fortissimi richiami melodici alla precedente traccia ISO006. Personalmente trovo il lavoro di Pereptual Loop un viaggio molto soggettivo, la parola che mi è venuta subito in mente appena ho sentito la prima traccia di Isolation è stata "ordine". Nelle dolci onde generate dal sequencer ho percepito tutti i suoni perfettamente al loro posto, ritmi precisi e decisi che aprono il mio viaggio verso nuove emozioni. In ISO001, a circa metà brano, emerge un cambiamento, il ritmo cambia e il discorso si evolve, l'emozione generata dal brano cambia radicalmente, il tutto poi si spenge tornando ad uno stato di quiete, quasi affaticato dal ritmo così insolito ed accelerato. ISO009 è una lunga pausa dalla rapidità degli eventi passati, quasi come fosse un lunghissima pausa coronata scritta sul pentagramma.

Isolation is the latest album by Charles Massey, A.K.A Perpetual Loop, a British composer who has been active on the electronic music scene for about ten years.
Isolation is the result of a series of emotions that are reflected in the environment surrounding Charles, a journey accompanied by the notes that take voice and form by synthesizers, telling us emotional journeys. Each track is an emotion but as in the human soul also in his album you can find references to previous tracks, for example in ISO007 there are very strong melodic references to the previous track ISO006. Personally I find the work of Pereptual Loop a very subjective journey, as soon as I heard the first track of Isolation, the word that immediately occurred to me was "order". In the sweet waves generated by the sequencer, I precipitated all the sounds perfectly in their place, precise and decisive rhythms open my journey to new emotions. In ISO001, about halfway through the track, a change emerges, the rhythm changes and the speech evolves, the emotion generated by IS0001 changes radically, after that all turns off returning to a state of stillness, almost fatigued by the unusual and accelerated rhythm. ISO009 is a long pause from the speed of past events, almost as if it were a very long fermata written on the pentagram.
